🔶Processing Leave of Absence(suspension), Reinstatement, and Withdrawal(termination)

The new academic terms at our school begin in February and August. Therefore, applications for leave of absence, withdrawal, or reinstatement for the following semester can only be recorded in the system when the new semester starts.

Students on leave should apply for reinstatement or extend their leave before the end of the leave period; otherwise, they will be considered withdrawn.

Leave of Absence(suspension)

  1. According to Article 26 of the University's Academic Regulations, the total duration of leave of absence should not exceed two academic years. If a student needs to extend their leave after the two-year period, an extension of one semester or one year may be granted at the discretion of the university.

For students who take a leave of absence due to military service, pregnancy, childbirth, or to care for a child under the age of three, the leave period will not be counted toward the total leave duration if they submit the necessary supporting documents with their application.

  2. After students submit their leave of absence, withdrawal, or reinstatement applications their student status through the Online Application System, they should print out the application form and have it stamped in each required section before submitting it to the Registration Division.
This Online Application System is only available for students who have not exceeded six semesters of leave. If an application is needed due to exceeding the leave period for the reasons mentioned above, please download and use the Student Leave/Withdrawal Application Form for processing.

Reinstatement

  • Students should submit their reinstatement application before the registration date of the semester they intend to return. Reinstatement cannot be processed during the semester.
  • Apply via the Online Application System, and the Registration Division will compile the list and process it.
Alternatively, students can fill out the Leave of Absence Reinstatement Application Form and handle it in person.

Withdrawal(termination)

After registering the information in the Online Application System, students should print out the application form, have it stamped in each required section, and submit it to the Registration Division.
Students who have completed at least one semester of study should include a return envelope. The university will then issue a Certificate of Completion.
